 1) Q: How can I sign my child up for soccer?

Simply create an account on this website. Follow the user friendly registration. Once completed all available programs will appear. Contact the registrar for or the Director of Coaching for any further questions and concern, [email protected], [email protected]



2) Q: Are dogs allowed on the field?

Ans: No, they are not allowed in any of the facilities... No smoking of any kind, no alcohol beverages, no alcohol breath.



3) Q: What nights and times are practices?

Ans: All practices are Monday-Thursday from 6:15pm to 7:45 P.M. On Saturdays from 9:30am to 11:30am  


4) Q: How can I obtain a refund?

Ans:  CAYSA  HAS A NO REFUND POLICY! All parents registering their child for soccer sign a wavier that they understand this stipulation. Rare exceptions may be made where appropriate and approved by the Board of CAYSA.

6) Q: How can I volunteer/help out?

Ans: Everyone who has a child registered to the Club is required to volunteer. CAYSA is Not-for-Profit Organization and therefore seeks help from its members. Sponsorships, assistance are always needed. During registration all parents must choose area they want to volunteer or pay an opt out fee. 

 There are volunteer hours for each family, and it is encouraged to do so to support the youths’ organization to keep the operation running smoothly. All volunteer opportunity details will be during registration or you will be contacted by your child's team coach, team parent, team manager, or the club board of directors. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Please be sure to sign a volunteer sheet to help us in any area that you can.



7) Q: How do I figure what age group my child should be in?

Ans: That will be determined by the club per rule of its affiliation. The parents will be advised.



8) Q: What is provided for player uniforms?

Ans: The club provides a complete uniform: jersey, shorts, socks for practice/game for the Fall/Winter outdoor season for the Developmental program. Parents are to purchase the shinguards, soccer shoes for outdoor and indoor. Extra jersey shorts and socks can be purchase from the club. For Indoor, players receive one free jersey. Shorts and socks are the parent's responsibility.

Note: Proper attire is required during every practice and game. It is a must in CAYSA. There is no exception, so please do not ask if your child can wear something different just for the day. 

 



9) Q: What size soccer ball is needed?


Ans: Size 3 (soccer ball) for Future Starz (3 - 5 years old). Size 4 for U10 to U12. Size 5 for U13 and up.

Q: Can my child play with friends on the same team every year?

Ans: Special requests for your child to play with another child cannot be guaranteed. We do our best to balance the in house teams for their development purpose. 



11) Q: When will I know my child’s coach’s name?

Ans: Central Academy operates differently that most are used to. We do not run like other clubs. Please keep this in mind. However, All coaches are selected by the Director of Coaching. Parents are notified prior to the first week of practice.



12) Q: What are the days and time for Tutoring, practice and games?

Ans: Practices are held right after tutoring classes.  Those classes run from 4:30pm to 5:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays. Practice starts at 6:1:5pm to 7:45pm. Games are on Saturdays between the hours of 9:00am to later. 
Note: All member plus youths who miss tutoring classes will not be allowed to participate in practice nor games.



13) Q: When will the schedule be out?

Ans: The league schedules are usually out between 1 to 3 weeks prior to the start of the season games. The game scheduling process takes time as there are multiple games and multiple factors involved. Parents will be notified when the schedule is completed. In the meantime visit the website frequently to updates.

Q: How can I sign my child up for soccer?

A: Our hosting company, Sports Connect, has streamlined and optimized the sign-up process with their unique registration system. You may use their online system to register for the program that you want by registering a primary contact adult and then choosing from a list of our available programs.


Q: How can I navigate the pages?

A: Each page lists its chapter contents at the top. Simply click on a title or heading to jump to that article.
     Once there, simply click on the title of the article again to jump back to the top of the page.


Q: How can I sign up for SMS Text Messaging?

A:You must register with our site, then make sure to enter a cell number. Once this is done, you will receive an e-mail with additional instructions. It will tell you to text a 'keyword' to 84483.
